PDRC recognizes the growing importance of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) in the future, as the industry continues to expand and create employment and income opportunities across various sectors.
Drone technology plays a vital role in multiple professional applications, including:
• Search and Rescue Operations
• Surveying and Aerial Mapping
• Inspection Services
• Agricultural Operations
• And many other emerging industries
With this vision, PDRC is committed to developing skilled personnel for both government and private sector organizations by establishing a Professional Unmanned Aircraft Training Center.
Our programs are designed under a Competency-Based Training (CBT) framework to ensure that trainees acquire fundamental aviation knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of UAS operations.
Beyond foundational training, PDRC offers specialized courses that allow participants to advance their careers in specific professional fields of drone operations, tailored to their career goals and industry needs.
PDRC provides comprehensive drone training that integrates theoretical instruction, advanced simulation training, and real-flight operations in accordance with the international standards of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
Our training philosophy emphasizes:
•Skill Development – Enhancing practical flight proficiency
•Attitude Formation – Cultivating professional discipline and responsibility
•Safety Management – Prioritizing aviation safety at every stage
•Risk Management & Assessment – Identifying, evaluating, and mitigating operational risks
•Airspace Authorization Procedures – Understanding and complying with airspace regulations and flight permissions
At PDRC, we prepare drone pilots not only to fly — but to operate safely, responsibly, and in full compliance with aviation standards.
PDRC aims to obtain official recognition as a certified Unmanned Aircraft Training Organization (U-ATO) from the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT), in full compliance with the regulatory requirements outlined in CAAT-GM-UATO-001.
In addition, PDRC is committed to securing accreditation for its professional training programs as an officially recognized drone pilot school.
Furthermore, PDRC seeks registration as a Competency Assessment Center under the Thailand Professional Qualification Institute (TPQI), in order to support national professional standards and workforce development in the unmanned aviation sector.
Through these strategic objectives, PDRC strives to position itself as a nationally recognized and internationally aligned UAS training institution.

The Professional Unmanned Aircraft Training Center (PDRC) was established by Pattaya Drone and Robotics Co., Ltd., with a total investment exceeding 35 million THB.

The dedicated training facility spans approximately 1 rai for the main building area and includes:
•1 Theoretical Training Room (40-seat capacity)
